  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (for topping)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg to the sweet potato mixture or use maple syrup in place of brown sugar for the topping.
